Abstract

Zusammenfassung Kreditinstitute in Deutschland unterliegen einer strikten Zuordnung zu einer Säule des sogenannten Drei-Säulen-Modells der Kreditwirtschaft. Die Zugehörigkeit eines Instituts zu einer Säule ist insbesondere durch die Art des Gesellschafters beziehungsweise der Gesellschafterstruktur determiniert. Auch der Fokus der jeweiligen institutsbezogenen Geschäftspolitik und -strategie ist abhängig von der Zugehörigkeit eines Instituts zum jeweiligen Sektor. Diese einmalige Strukturierung einer Branche beeinflusst auch Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten und Fähigkeiten, auf mikro- und makroökonomische Situationen zu reagieren.
