Abstract

Zusammenfassung Seit Ende der 1970er Jahre haben zahlreiche psychologische, ökonomische und soziologische Labor- und Feldexperimente gezeigt, dass Menschen von rationalen Entscheidungen abweichen. Standard-neoklassische Gewinnmaximierungsaxiome wurden skizziert, die jedoch nicht eindeutig erklären, wie sich Menschen tatsächlich verhalten. Vielmehr wurde festgestellt, dass Menschen Heuristiken im täglichen Entscheidungsprozess einsetzen. Diese mentalen Abkürzungen ermöglichen es, mit Informationsüberflutung in einer komplexen Welt umzugehen. Verhaltensökonom*innen schlugen vor, Bürger*innen anzustupsen und anzuzwinkern, um bessere Entscheidungen in sehr unterschiedlichen Bereichen treffen zu können.
