Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Corona-Pandemie, deren Anfänge im Jahr 2019/20 liegen, nimmt erheblichen Einfluss auf die Gesellschaft und den Einzelnen. Einschränkende Maßnahmen, wie z. B. Ausgangsbeschränkungen oder das Tragen eines Mundschutzes, hat es in dieser Form und dazu in weltweitem Maßstab vorher nie gegeben. Die Pandemie wie die Bemühungen, sie einzudämmen, sind für alle eine neue Herausforderung. Ihre Entwicklung lässt sich noch nicht absehen. Offensichtlich befinden wir uns in einem Lernprozess, und wir müssen mit Veränderungen umgehen, ohne sie abschließend beurteilen zu können. Jedem Einzelnen stellt sich in der Corona-Krise nun die grundlegende Frage, die der Philosoph Immanuel Kant einst – lange vor Corona und in Bezug auf das Mensch-Sein überhaupt – formulierte: „Was soll ich tun?“
