Abstract

Zusammenfassung Um die Herausforderungen für die Erreichung einer Digital Excellence einordnen zu können, erfolgt in diesem Kapitel ein Blick auf das „big picture“. Wie hat sich unsere Welt zur VUCA-Welt entwickelt? Welche Herausforderungen gehen damit einher? Welche Auswirkungen hat der digitale Darwinismus auf unsere Branche? Wie kann die Chancen- und Bedrohungslage für das eigene Unternehmen ermittelt werden? Hierzu erfolgt eine systematische Analyse der Makroumwelt anhand der PESTEL-Analyse. Es wird systematisch herausgearbeitet, welche Aspekte bei der Entwicklung einer Digital Excellence zu berücksichtigen sind.
