Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ridepooling stellt eine viel diskutierte Mobilitätsform dar. Ad-hoc und in der Regel von mobilen Endgeräten übermittelte Fahrtwünsche einzelner Fahrgäste werden bedarfsgesteuert, fahrplanfrei und vollflexibel zu möglichst effizienten, geteilten Fahrten gebündelt, welche im Regelfall mit Vans oder Kleinbussen durchgeführt werden (siehe Abb. 1). Wenn fahrerlose Fahrzeuge verfügbar werden, dann ist zu erwarten, dass Ridepooling auch wirtschaftlich eine attraktive Mobilitätsform wird. Bei entsprechender Abstimmung auf Hochleistungs-Linienverkehre (S-Bahn, U-Bahn etc.) trägt Ridepooling sogar ein Potenzial in sich, in Ballungsräumen verkehrsentlastend wirken zu können (Friedrich et al. 2016) und in weniger dicht besiedelten Räumen eine günstigere Erschließung zu ermöglichen.
