Abstract

Zusammenfassung Geld ist ein Phänomen – ein Faszinosum. Der Mensch geht damit scheinbar ganz selbstverständlich um, ohne dass er es wirklich verstehen könnte. Die große Mehrheit der Leute hat sowieso keine fundierte Vorstellung davon, was Geld genau sein soll. Geld ist, wie Mr. Spock vom Raumschiff Enterprise sagen würde: „Faszinierend!“ Es existiert kaum ein Mensch auf der Erde, der nicht mit Geld zu tun hat. Den stärksten Druck des Geldes erdulden ausgerechnet jene, die wenig oder fast kein Geld haben. Aber ebenso unerträglich ist der Druck für diejenigen, die über Riesenvermögen verfügen. Sie sind nervlich genauso aufgerieben wie diejenigen, die man als Hungerleider bezeichnet.
