Abstract

Zusammenfassung Soziale Roboter können in naher Zukunft in öffentlichen Räumen eingesetzt werden, um Serviceleistungen zu automatisieren und Menschen zu unterstützen. Der Einsatz im öffentlichen Raum bringt jedoch vielfältige technische und soziale Herausforderungen mit sich. Dieser Beitrag stellt aktuelle Erkenntnisse zu den sozialen Herausforderungen an Orten wie Einkaufszentren, Museen oder Bahnhöfen dar und fasst wichtige Diskussionspunkte und weiterführende Forschungsrichtungen zusammen.
