Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wie wollen wir im Jahr 2030 in unseren Städten leben? Das Zukunftsbild ist klar: mehr Lebensqualität und Nachhaltigkeit, sichere Straßen und sauberes Wasser, stressfreie Mobilität, weniger Abfall, eine effiziente und ressourcenschonende Energieversorgung. Kurzum: Das Ziel sind innovative und bürgernahe Städte mit dem Menschen im Mittelpunkt. Um all dies zu erreichen, helfen digitale Technik und ein stärkerer Blick auf die Regionen. Systemisches Denken, neue Partnerschaften von Stadt und Land sowie mehr Team-Play sind gefragt. Kommunale Unternehmen spielen eine Schlüsselrolle: Sie sind vor Ort verankert, kennen die lokalen Begebenheiten, sind gut vernetzt und stehen für ein nachhaltiges und langfristiges Engagement in der Region. Mit dem Ausbau digitaler Infrastrukturen und wegweisenden Projekten zur intelligenten Vernetzung sind kommunale Unternehmen wichtige Akteure. Für die Weiterentwicklung der Daseinsvorsorge 4.0 brauchen sie, gerade im Hinblick auf die zukünftige Datenökonomie und die wachsende Bedeutung von Daten, faire Rahmenbedingungen.
