Abstract

Zusammenfassung „Change is the only constant in life. One’s ability to adapt to those changes will determine your success in life“. Die Digitalisierung stellt eine große Veränderung unserer Welt dar und das einleitende Zitat, von Benjamin Franklin, macht deutlich, dass man sich weder als Mensch noch als Unternehmen solchen Veränderungen verschließen darf, sondern mit ihnen umgehen muss, wenn man erfolgreich sein möchte. Die gegenwertige Relevanz der Digitalisierungsthematik im Bereich des Controllings, jedoch auch speziell in dem des Kostenmanagements, ist inzwischen unbestritten. Eine Bewusstwerdung dieser Bedeutsamkeit ist der erste Schritt um die aus der Digitalisierung entstehenden Herausforderungen zu überwinden, aber auch resultierende Chancen zu erkennen und zu nutzen.
