Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Beitrag wird zunächst die Bedeutung der Führungskommunikation auch im Hinblick auf die aktuellen Herausforderungen des demografischen Wandels und der Digitalisierung diskutiert. Führungskommunikation wird definiert, charakterisiert und gegenüber der Führungskräftekommunikation, der internen und der Unternehmenskommunikation abgegrenzt. Es werden Formen der Führungskommunikation mit möglichen Medien und Tools aufgezeigt sowie verschiedene Prägungen der Führungskommunikation durch unterschiedliches Führungsverhalten diskutiert. Führungskommunikation findet in unterschiedlichen Kontexten statt, die unterschiedliche Anforderungen an Führungskommunikation stellen. Aktuelle Studien mit ihren Erkenntnissen geben Einblick in den Forschungsgegenstand Führungskommunikation. Der Beitrag schließt mit einem Fazit, das die Wirksamkeit von Führungskommunikation fokussiert.
