Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die verschiedenen Bereiche der Mitarbeiterkommunikation. Diese wird umfassend verstanden im Sinne aller kommunikativen und informativen Vorgänge, in denen Organisationsmitglieder in ihrer Rolle als Mitarbeitende oder als potenzielle Mitarbeitende adressiert werden oder selbst kommunizieren. Die organisationsinterne Mitarbeiterkommunikation differenziert sich aus in die Kommunikation zwischen Top-Management und allen Mitarbeitenden, zwischen Top-Management und Führungskräften, zwischen Führungskräften und Mitarbeitenden, sowie zwischen den Mitarbeitenden in (Projekt-)Teams und auch ganz informell mit jeglichen anderen Organisationsmitgliedern. Die organisationsexterne Mitarbeiterkommunikation umfasst die Kommunikation von Mitarbeitenden ohne offizielles Kommunikationsmandat mit externen Stakeholdern und Rezipienten sowie die Kommunikation von Organisationen, die sich an potenzielle Mitarbeitende richtet. Nach einer Diskussion der Ziele und Wirkungen der Mitarbeiterkommunikation schließt der Beitrag mit einem Überblick über Entwicklungen und Herausforderungen in diesem zentralen Feld der Unternehmenskommunikation.
