Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das traditionelle Rollenverständnis der Aufsichtsräte im Umgang mit der Öffentlichkeit ist im Wandel. Investoren fordern verstärkt einen Dialog mit dem Aufsichtsrat, das Thema wurde daher als Anregung im Deutschen Corporate Governance Kodex aufgenommen. Eine abgestimmte öffentliche Zurückhaltung des Aufsichtsratsvorsitzenden wird bisher als Normalzustand angesehen. Gleichzeitig kann die Kommunikation des Aufsichtsratsvorsitzenden aber auch unternehmerische Ziele unterstützen. Dabei gilt: Schweigen ist Silber, Zuhören ist Gold.
