Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Berufsfeld der Investor Relations (IR) blickt auf eine junge Geschichte zurück. Eine Profession gilt als etabliert, wenn es neben einem spezifischen Aufgabengebiet und typischen Tätigkeiten ein einheitliches Berufsbild, einen geregelten Berufszugang und eine spezifische Berufskultur gibt. Dies ist in Bezug auf IR noch nicht der Fall. IR werden in Abhängigkeit vom Selbstverständnis der Investor-Relations-Officers, der Fremdwahrnehmung am Kapitalmarkt und der Rolle im Unternehmen in unterschiedlichen Ausprägungen praktiziert. Im vorliegenden Kapitel werden die Entwicklung des Berufsfelds IR in Deutschland, Rollenprofile sowie Karrierepfade von Investor-Relations-Officers beleuchtet.
