Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über wesentliche Strömungen der Organisationstheorie und beleuchtet, wie diese in der deutschsprachigen Forschung zur Unternehmenskommunikation aufgegriffen und fruchtbar gemacht werden. Auch zeigt der Beitrag auf, dass in umgekehrter Stoßrichtung die Unternehmenskommunikationsforschung, hierunter insbesondere der „Communication Constitutes Organization“ (CCO)-Ansatz, zunehmend zu allgemein organisationstheoretisch relevanten Fragestellungen beiträgt. Der Beitrag schließt mit einer Ableitung von Implikationen für die Praxis des Kommunikationsmanagements.
