Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Möglichkeiten der Mobilisierung einer Unterstützungsbewegung von unten nutzen traditionell insbesondere zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen wie Verbände, Vereine, Bürgerinitiativen und soziale Bewegungen. Aber auch Unternehmen setzen Grassroots Lobbying und Grassroots Campaigning ein, um Menschen zu aktivieren, in ihrem Sinne direkten Einfluss auf Akteure des politischen Entscheidungsprozesses zu nehmen. Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die Formen, Funktionen und unterschiedlichen Einsatzfelder von Grassroots Lobbying und Grassroots Campaigning. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf Grassroots Campaigning, das Formen des Grassroots Lobbyings einschließt. Es werden charakteristische Merkmale von Grassroots-Kampagnen vorgestellt und typische Mittel und Maßnahmen betrachtet, die bei der Umsetzung bedeutsam sind.
