Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag wirft einen theoretischen sowie praxisorientierten Blick auf Stakeholder-Events, deren Konzeption sowie innovative Weiterentwicklungen. In den Fokus rückt dabei eine Entwicklung, die als Plattformisierung solcher Veranstaltungen beschrieben werden kann: Events dienen nicht mehr primär der Positionierung des Ausrichters, sondern eher als Katalysatoren für einen themenbezogenen Informationsaustausch. Es wird erläutert, warum die gesellschaftlichen Megatrends der Individualisierung und Personalisierung sowie der Paradigmenwechsel interessenpolitischer Strukturen hin zu einer stärker von Werten wie Vertrauen und Transparenz getragenen Kommunikation für die Etablierung von Plattform-Events eine zentrale Rolle spielen. Durch die exemplarische Darstellung klassischer Veranstaltungsformate sowie der beispielhaften Nennung von Pionier-Akteuren im Bereich der politischen Plattformen werden die unterschiedlichen Prämissen und Auffassungen politischer Interessenvertretung verdeutlicht. Der Beitrag schließt mit einem Ausblick auf die Auswirkungen der Digitalisierung von politischen Austauschformaten sowie mit einem Blick auf die Möglichkeiten von Kooperationen mit externen Dienstleistern bei diesen Formaten.
