Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Erfolge Amazons führen zwangsläufig dazu, dass das Unternehmen in den Fokus der Gesetzgeber gerät. Diese wollen sich nicht unbedingt dafür einsetzen, dass Amazon durch freie marktwirtschaftliche Regeln noch größer, stärker und vielleicht unkontrollierbarer werden kann. Ganz im Gegensatz dazu wollen Politiker in der ganzen Welt die Märkte „besser steuern“, sodass die Macht digitaler Konzerne, zu denen Amazon zählt, beschränkt wird. Welche Optionen den politischen Eliten zur Auswahl stehen, wird in diesem und dem folgenden Buchkapitel erläutert.
