Abstract

Zusammenfassung Sogar der Geschäftsführer von Amazon weiß, dass der Erfolg seines Unternehmens nicht ewig dauern kann. Daher fokussiert er sich darauf, den Zeitpunkt des Scheiterns so lange wie möglich hinauszuzögern (cnbc. 2018). Schon heute sind trotz des starken Wachstums nicht nur Stärken Amazons zu erkennen, sondern auch seine Schwächen. Diese bieten wiederum unmittelbar Chancen für Wettbewerber. Wie die meisten anderen Unternehmen ist auch Amazon vor potenziellen revolutionären Ideen, die aus anderen Ländern und Industrien kommen können, nicht geschützt. Im vorliegenden Kapitel stellen wir exemplarisch einige offensichtliche Schwachstellen Amazons dar, die durch kluge Strategien der Wettbewerber zu ihrem Vorteil genutzt werden können.
