Abstract

Following Österle et al. (1991, p. 35) and Riempp (2004, pp. 314-316) a profound research process not just provides practical, but also theoretical contributions (Österle et al. 1991, p.35; Riempp 2004, pp.314–316) (cf. chapter 1.3). Putting the explicitly described practical strategic implications for telecommunication companies (cf. chapter 7) in reference with existing innovation models (cf. chapter 2.3) it gets obvious, that major characteristics of cross-industry service innovation projects are not considered in present literature to its full extent. Accordingly, based on the new insights this chapter deduces cross-industry innovation specific propositions and visualizes them in an extended theoretical innovation process model.
