Abstract

Zusammenfassung Viele Unternehmen stehen im Wettbewerb unter permanentem Innovationsdruck. Was heute noch neuester Stand der Technik ist, kann morgen schon Standard sein, der andernorts deutlich günstiger hergestellt werden kann. Waren und Dienstleistungen, die aufgrund veralteter Konzepte oder Prozesse nicht mit wachsenden Anforderungen oder verändertem Bedarf der Kunden Schritt halten können, werden schnell zu Ladenhütern. Innovation wird damit zum zentralen Erfolgstreiber und sichert Unternehmen zugleich ihr Überleben. Die Konkurrenz schläft nicht.
