Abstract

Zusammenfassung Personalverantwortliche haben einen undankbaren Job. Finanzen und Technik gelten als relevante, als machtvolle Bereiche. Hier sitzen die hoch angesehenen Vorstände. Personal ist anders. Hier gedeihen „Bonsai-Manager“, so bringt das Manager-Magazin die Entwertung der Abteilungen für Human Resources (HR) auf den Punkt (11/2014, S. 102 ff.) In diesem Bereich werden Urlaubstage gezählt, Krankmeldungen gesammelt, Zeugnisse verwaltet, Soft Skills geprüft. In etlichen Unternehmen werden die Führungskräfte im Personalbereich zwar großzügig „HR Business-Partner“ genannt, sie werden aber nicht in strategische Entscheidungen einbezogen. Sie werden nicht als wichtige Partner und Berater behandelt – auch dann nicht, wenn es um die Entwicklung einer Organisation geht.
