Abstract

Logistics radiation range refers to a scope which logistics activities in a very region can reach and cover. Size of the scope is closely linked to the region’s economic and logistics situation. From a statistical perspective, this article calculates five Chinese key cities’ logistics radiation range based on freight traffic volume and freight turnover in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Chongqing. The paper makes three differential analyses on five cities’ railway logistics radiation radius, as well as highway and waterway, and a correlation analysis between regional GDP and logistics radiation range. Finally, we get some solutions about the relation between economic development and logistics radiation range in Chinese large cities.
