Implementation of DOM-Based Linux System

Abstract

By analyzing Linux kernel and Linux system architecture, we cut and modify some parts of its source codes to get a stable and robust Linux kernel. The root file system, regular file system, and LILO program are being created separately in the flush memory space, so that it is not easily to be attacked by hackers. The important data will not be lost when the operating system is severe damaged, and will be automatically recovered right after the backup copy of DOM rebooted. Such shrinking Linux kernel is recompiled and an integral DOM-based Linux System is finally achieved. The whole process of implementation is described in details.
