Abstract

This paper discusses the relationship of engineering cost, collaborative management mode and BIM technology: Engineering cost management needs to be promoted by collaborative management mode, collaborative management requires BIM technology as a service platform, and BIM technology has been in service for engineering cost, so the three are regarded as complementary relationship. Analyze the engineering cost management in construction stage, and find that it only actualizes the value of engineering cost, and does not add the value of management. Therefore, the paper proposes to establish the mode of engineering cost collaborative management based on BIM technology in construction stage. The new management mode defines the roles of project participants and their functions, requires project manager to establish the mechanisms of collaborative management to mobilize all participants to actualize value-added management. And analyze that the management mode can achieve four targets.
