Abstract

The ecological environment problem caused by the shortage of water resources in the Shiyang River Basin is serious. It has deeply affected the basin sustainable development of the economy and society, and has threatened the Northwest and North China’s ecological environment. Therefore, it is important to find reasons for the deterioration of the ecological environment. This paper provides some ways to achieve a healthy development of the ecology and the economy, such as building water-saving society, the implementation of intensive production, the implementation of greening engineering, ecological migration and watershed ecological compensation, and builds a development model of the ecological economy in the Shiyang River Basin.
