Abstract

Transformational leadership is a hot-debated research topic. However, the study about underlying mechanism for understanding the impact of transformational leadership on performance outcomes from the perspective of cognitive psychology is few. According to this, the attention of this article is paid to the effect of transformational leadership on subordinates’ innovation performance using psychological capital as a mediator. We examine the relationship among psychological capital, transformational leadership and innovation performance of subordinates and give some practical advices on how to enhance the subordinates’ innovation performance.
