Research of Development Mode of Urban Renewal Unit of Shenzhen

Abstract

With the current process of rapid urbanization in Shenzhen, the shortage of construction land emerges. Many problems need to resolve quickly, especially the low utilization ratio and non-standard phenomenon. Urban renewal unit which was carried out in Shenzhen in 2009 hadn’t played an important role. With the analysis and comparison of the common development mode of urban renewal unit, combined with the characteristics of Shenzhen, this paper focuses on researching and improving the suitable development mode of urban renewal unit of Shenzhen. I hope this paper can lay the foundation for urban renewal unit system in Shenzhen and urban renewal work in other areas.
