Abstract

Women in VR work environments face many challenges but also have many opportunities to excel in their careers. They need resources such as this book which offers them a way to bridge the VR career development gap. Since this is a new concept for many women, they may struggle with self-inflicted limitations including self-doubt. This book seeks to help them overcome their own limitations and suggest areas for future researchers for scholars, professionals, and practitioners to consider so that they can help women in VR work environments with their career development and ultimately career success. All women should have the same opportunities to work together for career empowerment.
