Abstract

Today, China is a key player in the international system, making no secret of its ambitions to challenge the United States as the sole superpower. Having emerged from a unipolar world order, China is mobilizing all its power to confront American hegemony and promote the emergence of a pluripolar world. The New Silk Road project reveals China's desire to conquer the world, and more specifically Africa, a field of international competition. Through massive investment in infrastructure, the Chinese regime aims to increase its presence and influence on the African continent. Morocco, keen to rethink its relations with European countries, has not hesitated to lend its support to the New Silk Road initiative. Despite the many obstacles it faces, this project aims to promote and consolidate Chinese investment in Morocco.
