Forgiving Business Models

Abstract

The problem with running a company is that it poses a risk of loss or failure. Some business models are more forgiving than others, which should be of interest to those contemplating a start-up. Forgiving business modelsforgiving business models do not eliminate risk; they shift it to others, not because the recipients are allies, but because the deal on offer to them, becomes their most profitable, known optionmost profitable, known option.
