Abstract

Many loyalty programs are dependent on partnerships to drive the success of the program. In Chapter 4, de Boer and Chin explore the marketplace for loyalty currencies from the perspectives of both sellers and buyers. They provide practical guidance on key questions, such as how to price points and how partners view the economic investment in loyalty. The chapter also discusses how to create sustainable partnerships between internal and external partners and highlights the key differences between these two types of partners. De Boer and Chin offer a compelling and insightful exploration of the how and why behind today’s loyalty program currency partnerships.
