Abstract

AI has become a key factor in changing patient outcomes, healthcare delivery, and operational efficiency in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in the context of rapidly advancing technology innovations. Through an investigation of prominent AI applications in the health sector to diminish the struggle with inaccuracies, inefficiencies, and inequities in providing medical services to people. This chapter clarifies the significance of AI in tackling persistent healthcare issues in the area. Moreover, it delves into the distinct sociocultural, legislative, and infrastructure elements that impact the integration of AI in healthcare settings across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), highlighting the obstacles and potential advantages associated with utilizing AI to drive healthcare innovation in the area.
