Abstract

The company's ability to collect a larger amount of data, utilize AI for analyses and forecasts, and subsequently make better decisions can greatly enhance the planning and budgeting processes. This can lead to improved forecast accuracy, greater budget flexibility, and reduced information gaps between stakeholders. Given AI's potential impact on planning and budgeting systems and the significance of these processes in management control, we have chosen to delve deeper into this topic in the following chapter.
