Abstract

Despite the disappointing results of its operation, especially after the plant restructuring in Belgian and France locations (a hard corporate restructuring that increase inter-plant competition after 2010), and that have impeded the TCA to develop their full potential, the reduced corporate management interest and that the company has breached important parts of the TCA concerning trade union participation. What is certain is that the different trade union cultures have not contributed to building a unitary conception of the inclusive participation model that underlay the TCA and has prevented to build up institutional power in the TNC (Transnational Company).
