Abstract

The emergence of electric mobility (EM) significantly influences and reshapes the business models of organizations across various industries. This chapter explores electric mobility from the perspective of industries, dealing with the economic and environmental benefits of its implementation. It examines the significant impacts electric mobility has on various industries, discussing innovative business models and strategies related to electric mobility. The chapter also addresses how industries communicate their commitment to EM and their advancements to the market both online and offline. The chapter then addresses the implications for traditional manufacturers and the oil industry, highlighting the transformative effects of EVs adoption on such contexts. In conclusion, the chapter delves into the revolutionary changes in supply chains within the automotive industry and for urban logistics, showcasing the broader industrial shifts prompted by electric mobility.
