Abstract

Zusammenfassung Unvorhergesehene Ereignisse können unerwartete Konsequenzen für eine Organisation haben. Solche externen Kräfte machen sie volatil und unterwerfen sie ständigen Veränderungen aufgrund ihrer Vernetzung mit der Geschäftsumgebung, in der sie tätig ist. Ohne Vorbereitung auf solche Ereignisse kann jede Hilfe für das Unternehmen nach dem Ereignis zu spät kommen. Hier werden die Grenzen des konventionellen Silo-Risikomanagements deutlich. Es gibt bestimmte Phänomene, über die die Unternehmensführung Bescheid wissen und die sie verstehen muss, um solche externen Kräfte abwenden und das Unternehmen erfolgreich aus der Krise führen zu können.
