Abstract

This chapter elucidates the complex dynamics of trade finance and supply chain management, emphasizing mechanisms like cash-in-advance and consignment. It illuminates the pivotal role of letters of credit in international trade, the advantages and perils associated with open accounts, and the integral function of documentary collections in assuring transactional integrity. Furthermore, the chapter imparts a profound understanding of the Incoterms rules, demarcating responsibilities in international shipping.
