Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel bietet einen Überblick über Bankdienstleistungen. Dieses Kapitel vermittelt dem Leser ein angemessenes Verständnis des Bankensektors, der Arten von Bankgeschäften, der Methoden im Bankwesen und der Art und Weise, wie Banken in der Vergangenheit mit dem Qualitätsmanagement begonnen haben. Dieses Kapitel befasst sich auch mit der Frage, warum kontinuierliche Verbesserung (Continuous Improvement, CI) für das Bankwesen so wichtig ist und wie es sich von anderen Sektoren unterscheidet. Darüber hinaus werden Leistungsindikatoren speziell für das Bankwesen und die Finanzdienstleistungen (BFS) erörtert, um Anhaltspunkte für die Identifizierung von Lean-Six-Sigma(LSS)-Möglichkeiten in Echtzeit zu liefern.
