Abstract

Relational goods may play a role also in digital transformation projects. In particular, it has widely been observed how employee’s engagement is fundamental to successfully digitally transform any business. In such a regard, it is relevant to unpack how these goods may arouse and how they may interrelate with the building blocks of digital transformation in 4.0. The analysis will focus on SMEs; indeed, this typology of business is the most diffused in any national economy. Likewise, SMEs are the business which most frequently experience difficulties in embracing opportunities deriving from digitalization.
