Abstract

To share Busara’s story, we’ve taken an unconventional approach and put together our progress and learnings in a series of faxes from present Busara to key staff from across our past 9 years. We share stories from lessons we’ve learnt on balancing our academic roots with expanding into consulting, bridging both worlds, the type of talent and skills we found most effective, working with different partners, the messiness behind the scenes of experimentation, and creating a space and voice for us in the field.
