Abstract

Zusammenfassung Deutsche gemeinnützige Organisationen, die Spenden sammeln, werden von mehreren in diesem Kapitel vorgestellten Erkenntnissen profitieren. So werden beispielsweise die Anforderungen an deutsche spendensammelnde NPOs und die Ressourcen, die sie für ihr Überleben und ihren Erfolg benötigen, aufgezeigt. Für NPOs sind die Abhängigkeiten und Interdependenzen zwischen Anforderungen und Ressourcen wesentlich, wenn sie wissen wollen, welche Informationen sie in welchem Umfang veröffentlichen müssen, um ihre Stakeholder zufrieden zu stellen. Darüber hinaus zeigen die Ergebnisse eine Diskrepanz zwischen der Bekanntheit von IK, dessen Konzept und dessen Offenlegung. Einerseits wurden die Begriffe „intellektuelles Kapital“ oder ein anderes Kapital in den analysierten Dokumenten nicht ein einziges Mal verwendet, und die meisten Vertreter wussten laut den durchgeführten Interviews nichts über IK und dessen Konzept. Andererseits zeigte die Dokumentenanalyse, dass jede NPO IK offenlegt. Ein bewusster und zielgerichteter Umgang mit IK und deren Offenlegung könnte für NPOs jedoch von Vorteil sein.
