Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Ökonomie in den Mittelpunkt der Debatte zu stellen, vor allem wenn es sich um eine vereinfachte Ökonomie handelt, die die meisten Menschen so verstehen, wie sie an den Universitäten gelehrt wird (neoklassische Mainstream-Ökonomie, die sich jedoch in vielerlei Hinsicht mit der österreichischen Mainstream-Ökonomie überschneidet), führt dazu, dass das Wesentliche der Politik übersehen wird. Es gibt mehr im Leben als Arbeit. Es gibt mehr Wert in der Gesellschaft als Geld und den Schutz derjenigen, die bereits in einer privilegierten Position sind, und viele glauben, dass dies die österreichische Ökonomie, ob absichtlich oder nicht, tatsächlich tut … Um dieses Ergebnis zu vermeiden, müssen die Österreicher den Umfang ihrer Analyse, die Variablen und Werte in ihren Modellen erweitern.
