Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Autor teilt seine Erfahrungen aus dem internationalen Projekt „Pillars of Freedom“ zum Thema Freiheit außerhalb der Organisation; hieraus lassen sich einige für Organisationen geeignete Konzepte ableiten. Es ist ein radikales Umdenken erforderlich – weg von Organisationen, die durch Sicherheitsdenken und striktes zielorientiertes Verhalten geprägt sind, hin zu kooperativen Ansätzen, die sich durch projektorientiertes Arbeiten und vielfältige Vernetzungen eröffnen. Mobile Einheiten mit maximaler Entscheidungsbefugnis werden eingerichtet und nutzen die Möglichkeiten der digitalen grenzüberschreitenden Zusammenarbeit mit wechselnden Partnern. An die Stelle von Compliance-Fragen und Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsschulungen treten Selbstregulierungsmechanismen, die durch Transparenz im Handeln bestimmt werden. So werden Organisationen besser darauf vorbereitet sein, mit der Geschwindigkeit der Informationsexplosion und den sich verändernden Ausgangslagen Schritt zu halten.
