Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel diskutieren wir Scheduling-Probleme und wie Methoden der Computational Intelligence auf sie angewendet werden können. Wir beginnen mit allgemeinen Überlegungen zu Scheduling-Problemen und diskutieren Varianten und einige einfache Lösungskonzepte. Danach werden einige Standard-Scheduling-Probleme detaillierter besprochen, gefolgt von einer Diskussion weiterer Scheduling-Probleme, die für Logistik und Supply Chain Management relevant sind. Danach werden Lösungsansätze aus dem Bereich der Computational Intelligence diskutiert, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf Fragen der Kodierung liegt, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit der Verwendung evolutionärer Algorithmen. Der Beitrag endet mit einer Diskussion über die Bedeutung und den Erfolg des Einsatzes entsprechender Lösungsansätze insbesondere aus dem Bereich der Metaheuristiken.
