Abstract

Zusammenfassung Seit mehreren Jahrzehnten nutzen Hersteller die Lean-Prinzipien und -Werkzeuge, um die betriebliche Komplexität zu verringern und die Produktivität zu steigern. Der Lean-Ansatz bildet die Grundlage für herausragende betriebliche Leistungen, indem er Prozesse standardisiert, eine Kultur der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung einführt und die Mitarbeiter in den Betrieben befähigt. Angesichts der zunehmenden Komplexität der Abläufe haben viele Unternehmen jedoch festgestellt, dass Lean Management allein nicht ausreicht, um ihre betrieblichen Herausforderungen zu bewältigen.
