Abstract

Zusammenfassung Lean Management muss ein integraler Bestandteil eines jeden Unternehmens und jeder Organisation sein. Leistungsverbesserungen und permanente Anpassungen sind wichtige Faktoren für die erfolgreiche Umsetzung von schlanken Strukturen. Das Leistungsmanagement integriert daher einen Zyklus aus Leistungsmessung und -analyse (Plan), der Leistungsaktion und -umsetzung (Do), dem Leistungsmanagement-Controlling (Check) und den Leistungsverbesserungen und -anpassungen (Act), wie er im Lean Performance Management-Zyklus in Abb. 12.1 dargestellt ist. Die Abbildung zeigt den Lean Performance Management-Zyklus als einen iterativen und kontinuierlichen Prozess zur Steuerung und Verbesserung von Prozessen, Produkten oder Dienstleistungen. Der ursprüngliche vierstufige P-D-C-A-Rahmen ist auch als Deming-Kreis bekannt (Slack, 1995).
