Abstract

This chapter presents business cases from developing economies (i.e., Malaysia). Companies are namely PKT Logistics Sdn Bhd; Feruni Ceramiche Sdn Bhd; and Company B: Health Products and Traditional Medicines Manufacturer. The 1st two companies are successfully transformed and practice servitization, but the 3rd one cannot. Given cases are examined based on data in terms of service science, knowledge science, servitization concept, organizational culture management, and operations management standpoint. The case findings show that the co-creating knowledge process by integrating knowledge and resources from different partners creates new organizational knowledge, which is essential for servitization.
