Abstract

With the increasing development of enterprise and entrepreneurship within university, a plethora of approaches and educational perspectives are both utilised and discussed. In this second chapter, Crammond focusses on the impact of an enterprising university on its teaching and learning, as well as its stated purpose and held beliefs. A reflection on the myriad of teaching perspectives and modes of study is discussed, as well as considering new learning spaces and the influence of digitally assisted education. Essential and pragmatic philosophies of education for entrepreneurship are considered, before a case study of the team-based approach is presented along with ten outlined principles and the first element of the University Model for Entrepreneurship (UM4E): Method.
