Abstract

There are quite a few voting procedures which can be used to identify a democratic majority opinion. They range from the blatantly inappropriate binary methodologies, via several more exact ones, to a few which are robust, inclusive, accurate and very democratic. And whileElectoral systemsmajority voting majority votingDecision-makingmajority voting provokes division, a preferential points system of decision-making can promote rational discourse and sound decisions; it can be, in effect, the very catalyst of consensus.
