Abstract

Servant leaders are at the forefront of today’s pressing leadership challenges and continue to push for progressive change when tackling many of our most pervasive local and global issues. Today’s issues are often entangled in the convergence of politics, race, identity, and religion and frequently require a coordinated, unified response. This chapter will highlight the benefit of applying servant leadership principles with adaptive leadership tactics for deep, sustainable impact. Using a fusion of literature from both theories, this chapter will offer how to employ two validated frameworks together toward today’s most significant and extensive challenges.
